Partners

We partner with other charities and organisations in order to further our aims.  These include ‘Facing History and Ourselves’ and ‘No More Landmines’ and we are members of the Interfaith Network.  We continually seek to develop partnership work with organisations who have similar objectives as WIN.

In 2008,  No More Landmines and Women’s Interfaith Network (WIN) joined forces at an event at St Ethelburgha’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace.  The aim of the event was to raise awareness about the global landmine crisis and the role of women in resolving the threat of these indiscriminate weapons of war.  A Canadian sculptor Blake Ward exhibited Fragments, sculptures inspired by landmine victims.

Lady Gilda Levy faciliated the evening and spoke to invitees about the role of women in conflict resolution.   Lady Levy highlighted that WIN’s focus is promoting interfaith dialogue through interfaith groups and provides practical support and encouragement to help women establish these groups.

WIN is a partner of the Judith Trust. Additionally, we are partnering with Innovative Actions to raise awareness of environmental issues and offer practical ways for communities to respond to these challenges.
